Drills are as common as drill repairs for in our industry. Whether it's a seized up drill or the chuck is simply not rotating or opening and closing, there are multiple issues that can be present. If you don't repair the tool properly then you risk permanently ruining it. Drill repairs are one of our most common repairs and can often be done relatively quickly as long as the drill is from a reputable manufacturer and is not severely damaged.
